DUE TO COVID-19 MINI-CAMP TWO HOUR LESSONS HAVE BEEN CANCELLED.
Well, 2020 is finally upon us! During Spring Break and most of the summer we will be offering a 2 hour group lesson for $40. Extended lessons are a great way to learn learn skills faster, as you will have far more time to practice at each session. They are also a great way to hone your skills before the fun shows! Please see the schedule below for dates and times of the 2 hour group lessons. Lessons will be limited to 8 riders, so please contact us soon if you are interested. All 2 hour group lessons must be paid for when reserving your spot, although tips for your instructor are appreciated on the day of your lesson. Since space is limited, no spots will be held without payment received. You can bring your payment by the Stables during normal business hours, or pay by phone. For all 2 hour lessons, please try to arrive 15-20 minutes early. Part of the lesson includes grooming and tacking the horse. Arriving early allows the rider more time in the arena. CRITTER CAMP - We will also be having Critter Camp again this year during Spring Break. This camp has less focus on horses, and more on the other animals on the property. The child will learn to groom and we will also have ponies available if they wants to ride. This mini camp is built for kids that may have some fear of riding, but still want to be out here with horses. It's a great way to transition them to be less intimidated. We will also be offering specialty lessons by appointment. Specialty lessons are $40 for a one hour lesson. Lesson types include: Ponies, Roping, Team Penning, Tracking, Herding, Obstacle/Trail, Bareback, and English. June 19 @ 6:00 July 17 @ 6:00 August 21 @ 6:00 September 18 @ 6:00 October 25 @ 1:00 (Potluck and Awards banquet to follow events on October 25) FUN SHOW REQUIREMENTS - participation in a Fun Show requires 3 or more lessons or rides in the month preceding the show. - horses will be drawn and assigned by C-Arrow staff. This gives each person a fair chance at a horse suited to their abilities; we no longer allow participants to "claim" horses. - for the safety of all riders, no outside horses are allowed on C-Arrow property during Fun Shows. Only horses owned by C-Arrow and boarded horses are allowed to participate. |
